Accessibility scan

An automated check of your website for the common accessibility errors, with a list of what to fix first.

For whom

Web shops and consumer services covered by the European Accessibility Act, and anyone who wants to know where their website stands.

Why now

  • The European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) has applied since 28 June 2025, among others to web shops and other consumer services. Micro-enterprises providing services are exempt.
  • Missing alt texts, too little contrast and forms without labels are the most common errors, and they are often quick to fix.

What you get

  • An automated check of the chosen pages against the common criteria (WCAG 2.1 AA, on which the European standard EN 301 549 builds).
  • Per error: where it is, who is affected and how your website builder fixes it.
  • A short ranking: what to fix first.

Not included

  • A full audit with assistive technology and manual tests: an automated check finds part of the errors, not all.
  • An accessibility statement or a legal opinion on whether the rules apply to you.
  • Fixing the errors.

Frequently asked questions

Does the law apply to my website?
That depends on what you sell, to whom, and on your size. The scan says where your website stands; whether the obligation applies to you is best checked separately.
