Approach
How I work, what you can expect from me, and how I handle your data and my code.
Fixed price and scoped work
- Every engagement has a fixed price, a defined end product and a delivery date.
- What is out of scope is stated explicitly in the quote. Additional work gets its own quote, never an hourly invoice.
- Payment: 50% on order, 50% on delivery, unless agreed otherwise. For public contracts: one invoice after delivery, payable within 30 calendar days.
Remote and by email
- I work fully remotely and in writing, so every question and answer can be traced.
- A kick-off or debrief can take place online or once on site.
Your data
- I keep client documents encrypted on systems I manage myself and delete them after the engagement as agreed in the quote.
- Where AI helps, it works on a pseudonymised working copy: recognisable names and details are replaced first, and the key stays with VDHome. The quote says so upfront; if it does not, I use no external AI service.
- I work from what you provide and confirm; I do not run technical tests on your systems.
Copyright and code
- You receive an unlimited, perpetual right to use the report and everything made specifically for your organisation.
- My existing tools, templates, scripts and libraries remain the property of VDHome. Where you receive a copy, you receive a licence to use it.
- You may use and adapt code I deliver within your organisation. Resale or distribution to third parties requires a separate agreement.
What I do not do
- I am not your statutory data protection officer (DPO) and do not give legal advice; have contracts reviewed by a lawyer.
- I do not perform certification audits. Where an accredited body is required, I help you prepare for it.
- No implementation, no staffing, no hourly work.
